Abortion providers required to report minor child under 16 years of age seeking abortion as evidence of sexual abuse. 2003-17.

CASE ANNOTATIONS

1. No constitutional or statutary violations for limiting section's application to members of the opposite sex. State v. Limon, 32 Kan. App. 2d 369, 83 P.3d 229 (2004).

2. Section, as applied to members of same sex, violates equal protection clause of 14th Amendment. State v. Limon, 280 Kan. 275, 122 P.3d 22 (2005).

3. Cited; statute requires that offender to be older than the victim. In re E.R., 40 Kan. App. 2d 986-988, 197 P.3d 870 (2008).
